July 17, 2026 Announcement Life-Style Medicine Workshops
Admin Message

Please join us for this exclusive and fun Lifestyle Medicine-centered brain health series. Through engaging activities, practical education, and community connection, participants will learn evidence-based strategies to support brain health and overall well-being.
As senior health advocates, we have all seen the growing concerns surrounding cognitive decline and dementia, the conditions that affect not only individuals but entire families. While these challenges can feel overwhelming, there is also reason for hope.
According to the CDC, many risk factors for cognitive decline and dementia are modifiable, including common chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes, as well as factors related to emotional health, physical activity, and social engagement. Through lifestyle medicine interventions and healthy daily habits, we can take proactive steps to support brain health and potentially delay the progression of cognitive decline.
This Minnesota Department of Health (MDH)-funded community project is offered free of charge to the public. We invite you to join us for a series of unique and engaging activities, including sound bowl healing, stress management techniques, Food as Medicine education featuring herbs, spices, and brain-power foods, and easy-to-learn Qigong movement exercises.
Please help us share this opportunity with your clients, residents, staff, caregivers, and families. Together, we can empower our community with practical tools to build a Healthy Brain Community. Event poster.
