interest and I will add your name to the group even if you cannot
attend tomorrow's meeting.

Please share this information with anyone you know who would like to
be able to provide community input about the future of the Rochester
Public Library.

P.S. Remember, the 18th annual Wit, Wisdom,& Wine fundraiser event for
the RPL will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019. Doors open at 6:30

be sure you get your first choices.

Age-Friendly Group Survey Request

In the City for Good, in conjunction with AARP Minnesota, invites you to take part in an Age-Friendly Community Survey. In a livable, age-friendly community, people have access to resources that enhance personal independence; allows residents to age in a comfortable place; and, ultimately foster residents' engagement in the community's civic, economic, and social life.

We are seeking your views in eight areas of livability that include: outdoor spaces and buildings; transportation; housing; social participation; respect and social inclusion; civic participation and employment; and, communication and information. Your responses will inform future planning on how we can create a more livable community for people of every age.

The survey will only take you around 20 minutes to complete. Please let us hear from you!

The Library Action Team was scheduled to be on the first Wednesday of each month 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the library meeting room A. Due to multiple unexpected circumstances, the meeting for April must be postponed. We have not been able to settle on a new date as yet so will announce later. Please send an email to me at [email protected] if you would like to join the Library Action Team (LAT) and include any meeting preferences as we try to settle on a regular date and time. Mondays and Thursdays already must be excluded due to other conflicts with some schedules. It might help you choose if you look at the library web page for their meeting rooms and specifically for the availability for meeting room A: https://root.evanced.info/rochester/evanced/roomrequest.asp If I could at least get a sense of whether the majority can do afternoons or prefer evenings would be a big help.
