My name is Ashley Oolman, I serve the state of Minnesota as Chief Equity Officer and lead the Office of Equity, Opportunity and Accessibility (OEOA). My role is about translating community priorities into systems change, and it is critical to me that I create space for direct connection to ground everything I do. You are receiving this email because you have been lifted as a key community leader in the Rochester area, by engagement practitioners I collaborate with across the state.
Below is a brief overview about an upcoming visit I’m making to your area, to better understand gaps and opportunities for community engagement and civic impact. The vision is to connect directly with folks who are closest to community, to inform my work and amplify yours:

A collaborative dialogue with local Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (and adjacent) practitioners uplifting shared priorities and shared challenges. - Leader Luncheon | 12:00–1:00 PM
A gathering with Rochester's leaders to foster candid dialogue and shared understanding across sectors. - Ecosystem Social | 1:30–3:30 PM
An informal convening of nonprofits and foundations to deepen connections, amplify local impact, and nurture future collaboration.
