The Minnesota Humanities Center’s (MHC) 2019 Statewide Community Input Tour is making a stop in Rochester!! MHC’s new CEO, Kevin Lindsey, is touring the state in a series of Community Input sessions. Kevin will be in Rochester to preview MHC’s emerging Strategic Plan, talk about our latest grant opportunities, and -- most importantly -- gather feedback from you about how we can create a more connected and curious Minnesota through the humanities. We want to hear about what’s going on in your corner of the state and how we can collaborate. How might MHC support creative programming that is occurring throughout Minnesota? What humanities programming might have the most impact in your community? This is an exciting time for the Humanities Center and your involvement at this point in the process is vital.

Please join the conversation on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Rochester Area Foundation, 12 Elton Hills Drive NW, Rochester. Kevin will begin his remarks at 10:00 a.m. We expect to wrap around 11:00 a.m.

Given your role in the community, your voice and input in this session will be invaluable. The humanities enhance people’s lives across sectors and experiences. We hope this session includes diverse a cross-section of people engaged with the humanities and in humanities-adjacent activities in your local and/or regional area.

Please register today here. Help us spread the word by extending this invitation to others.
