DTSTART:20260909T170000Z
DTEND:20260909T180000Z
DESCRIPTION:Rochester's young people already hold expertise about the
challenges facing our\ncommunity. This summer\, a first of its kind Yo
uth Co-Design Lab paid high school\nstudents from Rochester Public Sch
ools and near-peer facilitators from the University\nof Minnesota Roch
ester to put that expertise to work on two real problems: cannabis\nan
d vaping prevention\, with Olmsted County Public Health\, and pathways
into health\ntech and med-tech careers\, with Destination Medical Cen
 ter. Over nine weeks\, they\ninterviewed more than 90 peers\, family m
embers\, and community members inside\ntheir own networks\, made sense
of what they heard\, and built and tested ideas on\nreal feedback.
