DESCRIPTION:One of the greatest assets of the Rochester region is the 
 level of\nengagement and volunteerism around issues of health and comm
 unity.\nHowever\, in some cases these initiatives and programs are bei
 ng done in\nisolation which causes confusion and at worse competition 
 for resources.\nIn response to this\, the working group determined tha
 t the best approach\nis to 1) assess the initiatives/programs already 
 in place\, 2) share (make\nvisible) the initiatives/programs within an
 d across the community 3)\nconnect community needs with associated ini
 tiatives/programs\, and 4)\nsupport initiative/program development to 
 best fill community gaps.
